Life at Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering is a mix of good academics, vibrant campus life, and plenty of opportunities to grow. The campus is really beautiful and spacious, with greenery all around, modern classrooms, big libraries, well-equipped labs, and a corporate-style cafeteria where students hang out a lot.

Academically, the syllabus is up to date, especially for branches like CSE, IT, and AI. Most of the faculty are helpful and knowledgeable, though you’ll get the best out of it only if you take initiative — practical exposure mostly depends on your own interest. There are also lots of active clubs and forums where you can explore coding, entrepreneurship, dramatics, sports, and cultural activities.

Events like Josh (the cultural fest) and Tech Spark (the technical fest) make the campus lively and fun. Hostel life is decent, with Wi-Fi, RO water, solar-heated water, and good security, though food in the mess gets mixed reviews. The cafeteria is a favorite hangout spot for everyone.

Placements are pretty strong. Companies like Zoho, Cognizant, TCS, and Infosys come for recruitment, and if you prepare well, you can land a decent package. However, success in placements mostly depends on your effort — the college provides training and opportunities, but it’s up to you to make the most of them.
