Shivaji University has been the heart of Kolhapur. It has been growing and still continues to grow since its foundation. To say, Shivaji University has come quite across and developed a lot in a very less time. It has been focusing on Teaching as well as Research areas. The foundation of Nanoscience and Technology department In the year 2012 has been the boon to the University. It provides very well an opportunity for students to start their career in the new field of Nanoscience. It is a good institute which provides you with many amenities. This is a kind of University which keeps on growing and is always willing to change according to the changing needs of research and teaching facilities.

The professors are well qualified and teach really well.They guide you a lot and will never say no to any query. Always ready to help students. The campus is really good for living. Plenty of trees, fresh air to breathe and above all the Kolhapuri food to eat.

You will love the place, people around you, the climate is the best part and the institute is all time lovable.Towards the entrance, You will find the statue of Great Shivaji Maharaj which makes this University even more beautiful place to study on.
Overall it is a wonderful place and a very good institute to study.Teachers and Professors are helpful.
