Overall It’s a good university for people living in north india but Overall it’s infrastructure and placement support is not upto the mark. The classes were upto the mark, but it was disturbed frequently during student elections

Panjab University is one of the most respected and well-established universities in India. It provides a strong academic environment along with experienced and knowledgeable faculty members who are always supportive of students’ learning and growth.
The university campus is spacious, well-planned, and offers a peaceful atmosphere that is ideal for studies. Panjab University also provides good library facilities, research resources, and opportunities for both academic and personal development. Various seminars, workshops, and cultural activities help students gain exposure beyond classroom learning.

SO in India we say ” The place where one gains knowledge is regarded as temple ”.

University it was quite popular in India . So there are certain things like positive or negative but overall i had a great experience . Quality of education was very good . and about extracurriculars it is one of the best universities of India .

I enrolled in Panjab University in 2019 for my undergraduate degree and continued here for my Master’s as well. Choosing to stay on for my postgrad studies felt like a natural decision because of the university’s academic environment, heritage, and the overall experience I had during my first few years.

Despite a significant part of my time being impacted by the pandemic, the university managed to maintain academic continuity through online platforms and regular faculty engagement. What truly stands out is the historical essence of the campus—it feels like you’re part of something bigger, with legacy and learning deeply intertwined.

The professors are knowledgeable, and the focus on theoretical grounding is strong, which helps build a solid academic foundation. However, one area I felt could be enhanced is the preparation for practical life scenarios—more hands-on training, internships, or real-world legal simulations would add immense value for students stepping into professional roles.

Overall, my journey here has been overwhelmingly positive. I’d definitely recommend Panjab University to students looking for quality education in a culturally rich and academically solid institution.
