Osmania University is one of India’s most famous and esteemed universities, particularly in southern India. The university campus is very old-worldly and historic with its famous Arts College building, but it also has the feeling of being active and contemporary due to the enormous student population. The university has a very diverse range of courses, and most departments have very experienced teachers who are sincerely helpful. One aspect I particularly love is the diversity—you have the opportunity to interact with students from other states and even foreign countries, which makes the entire atmosphere more colorful. The campus itself is very large with grass, though certain facilities such as the hostel and infrastructure can certainly be upgraded. On the brighter side, the library and research facilities are good, and cultural events inject much vibrancy into student life. As a whole, Osmania University meshes heritage with opportunity, and it’s where you can develop both academically and as an individual.
