It is considered that generation Y is the generation with the most creative minds. Thus, millennials tend to express themselves through various forms, such as Art and Design.
Degrees in Art and Design aim to empower students to use art as a tool for self-expression. This degree is designed to develop visual perception as well as visual literacy. As a result, students gain practical skills in order to turn their imaginative ideas into reality.
Unlike many programmes, Art and Design courses improve students’ attention to detail, creative thinking, and freedom in the decision-making process.
Art and Design is a competitive industry. Therefore, it is of utmost importance to be equipped with the necessary skills to have higher chances of being employed in this field.
In general, graduates from this degree have a wide range of employment options once they finish their studies. The advantage of an Art and Design course is that you are highly employable for other industries too – there are numerous courses that would help to develop specialised skills for specific careers.
Some particular job areas include – apart from being an artist – community worker, fashion designer, graphic designer, illustrator, advertising executive, and multimedia worker. Many Art and Design graduates find themselves using their skills in marketing, media, or even teaching.
Art and Design degrees are part of Bachelor of Art (BA) Degrees. Courses’ structure and length depend on what type of programme you choose to study and the country where you choose to study. Usually, Art and Design courses are a three-year commitment, although there are countries – like the USA – where you need to study for at least four years.
The most remarkable aspect about this degree is that it emphasises the practical knowledge. Courses are often taught in studios, as a form of workshops. Additionally, students are assessed based on their portfolios of work, which may be exhibited to the public.
I found valuable mentorship through the experienced faculty and alumni network, helping me secure internships and job placements. The college also encouraged entrepreneurship through startup incubators.
View moreCareer counseling services are amazing here. The faculty members provide support to students to plan for their future. The alumni network is active and provides valuable connections and mentorship opportunities.

● University that creates future ready students
The faculty is highly qualified, and their teaching methods are effective. The curriculum is
well-structured and up-to-date, preparing us for real-world challenges. Exams are fair and evaluated our
understanding.
I don’t know if this counts as a unique experience as all students feel the same but I think some hostel restrictions are uncalled for and the sem fees are affordable for some students they should conduct scholarship exams every sem to give us a benefit of the doubt. Also, the academic Calander is not something I’m crazy about i.e more practicals less theory.
View moreCu has the most affordable fashion design program in India. It is a little different from other creative colleges but has a full-fledged syllabus and the teachers there are very helpful and give their best to help the student with their studies as well as make them better individuals. It has some attendance issues you cannot take many leaves. As long as you submit your work on time you are out of trouble. In all, it is a 7/10 experience for me
View morePeople are friendly and helpful. The workload is a bit high but it keeps you on your feet, the campus is very well maintained and a healthy environment followed by students. The program is very well structured and very well equipped. accommodations could be a little better and innovated otherwise it’s great. There should also be a medical store on the campus for students. The ATM facility on the campus is great
View moreChandigarh university is fine only if u can and wanna study, if you just wanna waste your money and dump it into studies then most welcome. You could attend the fests and all. Here for everything to have to pay money, if your attendance is short, pay to get it all. Nothing so wow about this university.
I enrolled in 1st year here but they are admitting students even in the fall!!! Students have studies hard to get here but they will admit anyone with a money bag. No need to pass the entrance test you could just shove money up their faces and you will get an engineer’s degree. That is what’s sad, people graduating from here do not get any placement because everyone thinks that we got the degree just by our money, but some of us actually study. anyways, if you can’t get into this college then you shouldn’t try college.
Everything is good, the faculty is also great. The environment is also great. The atmosphere is also great. There is so much greenery around us. The locality is not otherwise everything is great. The students get great opportunities.
View moreThe faculty here is very good. The campus is very beautiful in all it’s a nice institute. There is an anti-ragging policy and the environment amongst students is healthy as well and not toxic. The program is well structured and the placements are good.
View moreIt’s a good program as I am doing my majors in economics but they don’t give enough faculties. If they want they can provide separate faculties for each subject, and they don’t even have placement for this course.
