Academics: So, my degree is a B.com Honors in Accounting from the 2018-2021 batch. The course is affiliated with the ACCA program, a professional course of the accounting body of the UK that has signing authorities in more than 150 countries.
Faculty is good their are teachers with more than 15 years of teaching experience, if you have any doubts you can always reach out to them at their respective offices and cabins.
The exam Structure is designed according to the ACCA program and as 9 paper is exempted and those 9 papers course structure and exam structure has been adapted and mixed with the syllabus of the Subjects of the UG degree program.
The teaching is good but somewhat lacks practical knowledge is more of traditional style and not of the level of ACCA as the students wo will give the ACCA exams after graduating and getting 9 paper exemptions will face difficulties as the level of ACCA is way different.
Placements : The placements for our batch took place during the Covid era so the opportunities was not that much especially for Accounting and Finance field. There were placements in the Marketing and sales field, their were few students who opted for placements, most of the students were more interested in pursuing higher studies. So overall for those students who went for placements the rate was good and average package aorund 5-7 LPA
College Infrastructure: College infrastructure is good especially the dome building and the garden area they are constantly expanding the college infrastructure and you will have a great time while having a walk in the University. The facilities are good, you have all the facilities you needed WIFI, Classes with projectors, Well furnished.
Campus life: Manipal University has lots of fests there are fests from different departments that happen frequently once every month or two, there are plenty of nice clubs you can join and participate in different kinds of activities from showcasing your talent to contributing towards society however all the activities starts from the evening so there is a bit disadvantage to the Day scholars. As a Hostler you will definitely have a fun time there.
Value for Money: To be honest the facilities and college infrastructure are all good but it is costly the hostel fees is a bit too expensive the B.com honors accounting degree program fees was not that much costly but again if you do ACCA along with it it will cost you registration as well as exemption fees too so it depends on individual to individual.

Manipal University has state of the art infrastructure, a very vibrant college life with students from across the country. My time as a student at Manipal University in B.Com (Hons) in Accounting was a fine experience, where I had the platform to build my skills and knowledge in Accounting with the help from supportive and experienced faculty. I had the opportunity to also pursue the ACCA qualification along my Bachelor’s thereby strengthening my core in the subject and making me employable in the job market.

With the global brand that Manipal is and the expectation it brings when a student first comes here, they can certainly do better to improve the network with employers and other universities providing student first hand practical experience and opportunity through internships or exchange programs. Furthermore, I think the syllabus and course structure should be designed in a manner that students should be encouraged to participate in activities outside the classroom which can enhance learning and develop practical skills. I feel the University should also strive to better their alumni relations leveraging their global network which can be benefit for the students and the brand of the University. Overall, it was a good experience but i would like to see it strive to reach its potential of being one of the finest universities in the country

Infrastructure is too good. But that’s the only thing. Btech courses are good but not the commerce ones. Overall the staff is good and helpful. They have their hostel as well which is sort of a hotel kinda.

Great Infrastructures and facilities. Student Diversity from all over india, decent study environment, 3 star hostel facilities. As far as academics is concerced, faculty is good but can be better. Learning should be more practical based rather than a exam based approach.

It’s a university which is expensive for nothing and has less placements compared to most unis. It also has no facilities in terms of rexreation.it is like a university only meant for studies.the recreational area is mostly damaged in the academic year. The fees is expensive compared to the quality of service they provide

The university has world-class infrastructure, experienced faculty, but the assistant faculties lack experience and sometimes the phd students who come to teach us as part of their study not able to clear student doubts. The university provides students to grow in any field they want with hundreds of clubs and events happening in two months, the university has also a partnership with an International organization so that students can do a professional course like ACCA, CIMA with paper exemption and provide training for the main exams at the end, of you want to enjoy your college life and has a keen interest in extra activities this college is best for you.

It is the university which provides all courses and always try to bring more and better opportunities for its students. It is situated at a place where almost everything is available. In fact, the hostel has all kind of facilities like hospital, marts, restaurants, stationery. All the things which a student need are available here.

I am doing a course called Bcom(Hons.) In accounting integrated with ACCA. It’s a course where you will get an opportunity to complete ACCA along with your bachelor’s degree also it gives you 9 paper exemption on ACCA. The professors in this university is good. Also the college has good Library.

The campus is excellent. Facilities offered are really good. The academic curriculum could use improvement in some subjects but other subjects are covered quite well. The teachers are ready to help you throughout.
