Joining and open university has its pros and cons one of them being the flexibility to attend classes whenever you want from wherever you want, this also gives you the time to pursue other things that you wanted in your life simultaneously with your studies. One of the major cons would be the self study ; you have to be consistent and motivated otherwise it would be very hard for you to continue because there is no deadline except the exams. So you have to diligently study and be consistent. You should only apply to open university if you know that you will be consistent.
