My experience at IIT Madras has been both intense and fulfilling. What stood out the most were the brilliant professors who made even the toughest subjects understandable and engaging. The coursework is rigorous, but it’s designed to push you to think critically and apply concepts, not just memorize them.

The curriculum is very well-organized and industry-relevant, especially in areas like programming, data analysis, and machine learning. Assignments are regular and thought-provoking, which really helps solidify your understanding.

Overall, IIT Madras lives up to its reputation — a place where you’re constantly learning, challenged, and inspired. It’s not easy, but the sense of achievement you feel after each term is absolutely worth it.

Education and curriculum wise it was the best university we have in India. Research facilities are too good where regardless your experience and contacts you can pick any projects and even get funds for it.
Sports, Extra curricular activities

The infrastructure is unique and accommodation could be better.
All subjects are good including laboratories and practicals. professors have tremendous knowledge about their subjects. they have done PHD in their field.
Technical events are the best part of education. Students for different collages come to take part in that events.
Everyone knows the value of degree of this University.
