CMR School of Legal Studies - CMR SOLS (reviews)

The program has Integrated subjects of both BBA and law for the first 2 yrs (or 4 semesters) of the course. For a Student from a commerce background, the subjects were a breeze and having knowledge and interest in business and corporate subjects like Contract, Company, Property, Banking and Labour law were easy to grasp and understand, And most of it Due to the faculty and their way of teaching. They mix practical examples and references into the subject to make it graspable for even students who have no idea of what the topic might be. i.e some of the teachers used memes, movie plots or scenes, TV shows and series to provide examples for Topics being taught in class.

The Library is great
For the past 6 semesters I’ve never had to buy a book or Bare act, I’ve always borrowed from the library.
Also, the college has Law and Legal research facilities in Library with Manupatra, LexisNexis and Hein online subscriptions making Assignment and Research work very easy.

The Institute has also helped students with internships and has a good amount of clubs and events going on. And also the occasional guest lecture from Well renowned people in the field.
