It is one of the most important educational institutions in southern Upper Rhine area, the University of Applied Sciences Offenburg is a German university established in 1967 headed by Winfried Lieber. The Offenburg main campus is easily can be reached by car, bus or train.

It offers four English language programs in IT, Energy Technology and Management:
