Hi dear all, wish all the best for whoever reading this. I am a master 2 student at lyon2 and for the first semester of my M2 i came to AmsterdamHolland to University of Amsterdam. Well i would like to inform the ones who are gonna come in future. Before you decide any exchange to Holland please keep in mind about the accomodation crisis and the cost of life especially if you are eastern european or non-european. Because if you are not supported by your parents or dont have enogh savings you wont survive here. Also for the students whom gonna come from France then dont forget your home uni not gonna pay your erasmus bourse on time and they are gonna trap you about the amount of bourses until last minute and the once you are left to join your host uni they are gonna reveil the reality about regional bourses and erasmus contributions. Which will be way less then explained or expected so with saying that University of Amsterdam is one of the best uni of europe without any doubt and Holland is the port of europe which open to the world so you are going to experience a unique semester or year here. The profs are gonna be helpful and open to discuss anything related to your courses and administration is much better than in France.

View moreLyon 2 University is divided into 2 sites, one in the city center of Lyon at Berges du Rhône, the other on the outskirts at Bron.
I am a foreign student and I do a master’s degree in art history, I have the opportunity to study in the establishment in the city center, at the campus des Berges du Rhône and it is very easy to access, public transport is excellent in the city.
The positive aspects of this university are:
– Internationally recognized teacher-researchers
– Varied and interesting high-quality classes both a theoretical and practical level
– Teachers eager to share their professional experience
– Recognized training
– A large, pleasant student city with changing atmosphere with great initiatives with the help of several student associations
– Lots of potential internship locations
– Well-equipped classrooms and library with all computer resources and good student attendance
The negative aspects are:
-Few language programs for foreign students that can help them to adapt and – Understand more of the language
-Lack of pedagogy of some teachers during the period of confinement,
-Poor management of the resources available from certain teachers, to carry out online classes.
-refusal of multidisciplinary or different authors in connection with bibliography
Internships to find oneself, we are little helped. Integration is good in the world of employment for those who consent to mobility.
There are some truly inspiring teachers, it`s an honor to be with them!
There are a lots of different sports, really cool stuff happening.
The main negative point is the bureaucracy – most of the documentation takes forever to be done, there are often last-minute changes and information that is disappearing.
But it`s a place that I really like overall!
I attended the University Lumière Lyon 2 for 4 years. The university is spread over two main campuses: that of the banks of the Rhône and that of Bron. I mainly frequented the platform which enjoys a very pleasant setting. The teaching is of quality, reactivity and benevolence of the administration, on the other hand, is to review. The quality of the CROUS in catering also leaves something to be desired. But in general, I keep a very good memory of these years.
