With 45000 students and 23 faculties, schools and institutes, the university is one of the leading institutions in France and the world. The Université Grenoble Alpes was ranked among the top 100 and top 200 universities in major international rankings such as “Reuters”, “Times Higher Education” and “QS”. The 5500 staff includes 3000 lecturers and research professors and 2500 administrative and technical staff. The landscaped campus is 175 hectras and includes 500000 m² of buildings on 12 sites spread across 6 departments. Université Grenoble Alpes offers Bachelor degree courses, Master degree courses, as well as Doctoral degrees in close partnership with the socio-professional world to make sure graduates find employment upon graduation. In order to prepare students for their ideal future professions, the university offers students the opportunity to build and personalize their course route; giving them the option of switching between courses at any level. The courses variety is large with the focus on four main educational field: Arts, literature and languages; law, economics and management; humanities and social science; and sciences, technologies and health.
