Grenoble Alpes University is a very prestigious French university, student life is great here in terms of finding student jobs and transport. For the rental I would say that it is average because due to the university gaining rank applications to the university are increasing and there are fewer and fewer accommodations but over time this problem can be solved.
Speaking of the university, it is well equipped and there are many known laboratories in the city where you can do a phd without changing town, during your studies you have to be completely independent and revise every day to have good results.

While I am not on the main campus, I can say that teachers are really caring and don’t act like they see thousands of us every day. I love the environment of the main campus, the city is great and the options to go to another country to study for a year are widely open, it is easy to do so here. It’s great.

I completed my distance law license as part of a partnership with GEM. I keep a very positive experience of my law degree, the DM and TD allow to progress at your own pace even from a distance. The teachers are accessible and answer questions quickly. The university within the framework of the course also made available all the sports and associative infrastructures which are very useful when one is studying in a city like Grenoble. Although the campus is a bit out of Grenoble, it is quickly served and there is enough infrastructure to be able to do sports on campus.

This university is a huge campus located just down the Alpes Mountains. It gathered a lot of specialties like IT Field, Socio-Economics Fields or Mathematics at a high level.
Thus, for a student, it’s great to work in a beautiful environment, to be able to meet other students from other classes and to be reached by professors who are also scientific researchers.

It’s an amazing school, I like everything here, especially the huge amount of international students, everyone here is friendly and helpful, all the administrative staff and students are supporting you, you feel better than being at home

UGA is a very good university, new for its fantastic location in the middle of the Alps! If you need to take a break in nature, you have incredible sites that are less than 30 minutes in public transports. Grenoble is also a city where you can enjoy the students’ life, and at the same time, study in a beautiful campus not far from there! I would recommend this University, for being a great balance between studies and hobbies.

I am a student of International Master Program in Informatics at University Grenoble Alpes. The courses satisfy the demand of modern world as students are encouraged to do researches during Internships in Science Research Laboratories on real related topics as well as to implement different practical projects based on the knowledge gained before. The facilities (library open spaces, study rooms, technical equipment) at campus allow diving into the studies. Students have a variety of Residences to choose for living both at the campus and at the city. Among free-time activities, the university offers rich sports infrastructure.
