EDHEC has one of the best career centre teams globally. They have a curriculum based on real-life case studies rather than just books. The Master’s in Management program is a really exciting program since it offers you the opportunity to apply the skills you learn by doing two internships of 6 months each during the gap year. I would certainly recommend this school for someone who’s looking for top-quality education and a totally international experience.

I absolutely love everything about EDHEC, beginning from the pedagogy to the atmosphere it provides to the students (especially international) on campus. The extracurricular activities like sports, associations are very helpful. Also, the career service provided is top-notch. Therefore, I would call it an enriching experience so far.

The university is so great and the opportunities to explore are so much. As long as there is the hunger to learn and explore you can always thrive for more. Since it’s in France it would definitely beneficial if you would know the Native language, else it might be a little hard overall in terms of job search.

We don’t really have the kind of “bachelor” course in France, but I did my “pre-master” year at EDHEC Business School in Lille, and then pursued with a Master in Management in the same business school. Some courses were not very useful because we had no practical application, we did not really know what to expect from the course and what was the purpose of it. Others were hard to follow (hello Financial Statement Analysis).
To be honest, it was quite worse than expected: I knew that some courses were going to be quite “useless”, but I realized that a lot of them were too theoretical. What I liked the most was the student experience (student clubs), the possibility to attend conferences and the possibility to easily network with companies (“café meetings” every Wednesdays). The alumni network is quite active as well. I would recommend it to a friend, to have a shot at some of the subjects I had like Marketing, Accounting and Strategy. It is quite easy to find accommodation in Lille: plenty of apartments for students at reasonable prices. The school offers accommodation on the campus, but it is quite expensive compared to the prices in the city center. There are plenty of student clubs (56 student clubs), from local initiatives to sport associations with a national impact. It is even possible to create your own student initiative. Students are encouraged to join these student clubs, to gain professional experience and personal skills. Lille (North of France) is a student city, with plenty of bars and clubs, great for the nightlife. Easy to meet new people, friendly inhabitants in the North of France.
If you like beer, it is the best place to go. The campus is fairly big, with about 4,000 students on the campus every year. New campus, modern infrastructure, sport facilities in the campus (swimming pool…). For future students, I would say it is important to know how to make the balance between studying and working for your student club. Student clubs take a lot of time!

My experience was absolutely incredible. The professors are incredibly supportive and genuinely invest in helping students succeed. I have made lifelong friends and had the opportunity to attend various sporting events to show my support for the team I am passionate about. Edhec business school is an exceptional university that offers a diverse experience to all students. I admire the professors, the people, the beautiful campus, and most of all, the rich traditions and history of this incredible institution.

-The courses are interesting and practical, with experienced teachers.
-Many associations and clubs, which allows you to make friends and develop new skills.
-Life in France and Lille can be difficult at first, especially with the language barrier.
In short, despite some challenges, the Grande École Program at EDHEC is an enriching experience, with good teaching quality and numerous opportunities.

I chose EDHEC for its strong focus on sustainability and business impact. The professors are incredibly engaging, and the Lille campus is well-equipped. Career services helped me secure a placement at a sustainable startup in Paris. Highly recommend if you want a global business degree with a purpose

Programme structure for BM Masters in EDHEC, Lille was great. We got a gap year between the two years to do two internships which allowed us to gain work experience during our masters.

The courses are tough but useful, mixing theory with hands‑on practice to get students ready for jobs in finance. The teachers come from both universities and the industry, so they share real insights about how the finance world works.

The courses are interesting and varied. They gave me a good foundation in business and management, while focusing on practical aspects.
The workload is sometimes overwhelming, especially during exam periods. You have to know how to manage your time well.
Accommodation in Lille is a challenge, especially for international students. More support from the school in this area would be appreciated.

In short, despite some areas for improvement, the EDHEC BBA is an overall positive and enriching experience.
