Paris School of Economics (École d'économie de Paris), known as PSE, was established as an independent research institution in the field of economics, in 2006. PSE offers Master degree programmes, and additionally Summer School and Executive Education programmes. The school made it its mission to train its students through developing economic research of the highest international level. The Paris School of Economics has two Masters programmes that it offers in partnership with numerous academic institutions in France. 140 researchers and 200PhD students are on site. PSE was founded by the CNRS, the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales, the École Normale Supérieure, the École des Ponts-ParisTech, INRA, and the University of Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne. It now has private and institutional partners and has hence established itself on the global academic landscape. PSE's innovative programmes combine the teaching of university and grands écoles in order to educate its students. It's the Paris School of Economics' goal to promote exchanges between economic analysis and social sciences. During their studies at PSE, students get the opportunity to work in teams and gain valuable insights into the business world through the school's close partnerships with public institutions as well as private organisations.
