INSA Toulouse was founded in 1963 and is known for its excellent five-year degree courses that are internationally recognized. With double degrees and more than 3600 students, INSA Toulouse is training students for a global career in engineering. The employment rate is high- the average student finds his first job in less than 2 months upon graduation. Students at INSA Toulouse learn through internships, guest lecturers and research contracts, job dating and expertise. INSA Toulouse has 450 MSc engineering graduates each year. During their studies, students are facing concrete, complex problems and projects that they have to solve as a group- lecturers are only present to answer questions as students are encouraged to fix the issues by themselves. INSA Toulouse offers 8 specialisations, including computer sciences, civil engineering, mathematical engineering and biochemical engineering. INSA Toulouse welcomes international students. In fact, one in five students is a foreign student. INSA Toulouse places emphasis on being open to prospective students from various backgrounds – students with a technological “Baccalaureat” (BAC), students opting for a cooperative education alternating periods of academic study and industrial experience and continuing education students are encouraged to apply.
