Having seen how academic research in social sciences is done in some other universities in France, I can safely say that the EHESS stands out by far. The quality of the seminars is phenomenal and all professors are very outstanding.
The campus though is a bit remote aand not many fun things happening around
It’s a school for trainee researchers, trained by experienced researchers, so the quality of teaching is really good, as each researcher is the best in their field of study. The contact with the professors is easy. You have a vast choice of seminars to attend, each unique in their own way. Your study path is personal and you must be autonomous, resourceful to succeed, guided by your tutor.
