The University of Helsinki offers a diverse range of master’s programmes for international students. One of the reasons why I chose to study for my master’s at this university was because of its strong focus on research and highlighting contemporary challenges within social and environmental sciences, as well as natural sciences. Additionally, I loved my teachers and the university offers various career and personal growth opportunities for international students. My teachers were also incredibly supportive and easy to reach. I had the full liberty to design my own study plan talk to my advisors in case I needed their help. Helsinki has a vibrant student life too, so new students have the option to join different communities and network with like-minded individuals.
All in all, studying at the University of Helsinki gave me exposure to different academic and growth events which are essential for an international student exploring their future prospects.
