Studying science at AAU has been both exhilarating and frustrating. The courses are rigorous, and the debates in class feel like mini-courtroom battles. But resources can be limited—there was a semester where we had to share outdated textbooks. Still, nothing beats the intellectual fire of my peers. I remember our student protests against unfair policies; AAU breeds activists. The city energy fuels ambition, and seeing the National Palace from our campus reminds me why I’m here—to be part of Ethiopia’s future.
