At Addis Ababa University, my journey has been enlightening but also frustrating at times. The campus is beautiful, with plenty of green spaces that provide a nice break from studies. I’ve enjoyed the camaraderie among students, as many of us share common goals and ambitions. The exposure to different viewpoints and ideas has significantly broadened my perspective.
On the downside, I’ve faced difficulties with the administration and course scheduling, which can often feel chaotic. The lack of modern facilities in some departments hampers learning experiences. While the university is well-regarded, I think it needs more focus on student welfare and mental health services. Additionally, more internships and job placement programs would greatly benefit students preparing for the workforce.
