As a student at Addis Ababa University, I’ve had a mostly positive experience. The campus is expansive, providing plenty of green spaces that make it ideal for studying and socializing. The facilities are generally good, with modern lecture halls and numerous libraries stocked with a wealth of resources. However, it can be crowded during peak hours, especially in the main library. One highlight is the availability of scholarships; the university offers various financial aid options for both local and international students, which is a huge help. The faculty here is quite dedicated, with many professors encouraging open discussions and critical thinking. On the downside, the quality of meals at the campus can be hit or miss. While there are a few decent dining options, the variety is limited, and healthier choices could be improved. Addis Ababa University is a vibrant place to study, though there’s room for improvement in dining options and library access
