I enrolled in the engineering and computer science program, and the curriculum was forward-thinking, with courses on artificial intelligence, data science, and cybersecurity. The campus is modern and expansive, with well-equipped labs and fast-growing facilities. What I found most valuable was the university’s emphasis on problem-solving and entrepreneurial thinking. Students are encouraged to work on real-world projects, and hackathons are a regular occurrence. The teaching staff are knowledgeable, though some courses could benefit from better organization. AASTU’s location on the outskirts of Addis Ababa provides a peaceful study environment, though commuting can be a challenge. Despite this, the vibrant student body and supportive community made it a worthwhile experience. AASTU is definitely on the rise and a great choice for anyone passionate about STEM fields.
