As a student at Addis Ababa Science and Technology University, I’ve had a mixed experience. Scholarships are quite competitive but worth the effort; they really help with the financial burden. The quality of education is generally good, especially in the engineering and tech programs, though some courses could benefit from updated materials. Tuition is manageable compared to other institutions, but the cost of living in Addis Ababa can be high, especially if you live off-campus. Faculty members are generally knowledgeable, though availability outside class hours can be inconsistent. Extracurricular activities are vibrant and diverse, but finding the right balance between academics and activities can be challenging.
