Due to Cairo University’s historic role as the first modern university built in the region, it has acquired what one can only describe as generational knowledge; the accumulative effect of generations of professors passing down their knowledge to their successors. The teaching staff are some of the most proficient and established names in the region. However, the lack of upkeep and investment has showed it’s effects on the school. Many faculties face the problem of possessing valuable knowledge but not having the resources to deliver them. Some of the ways this manifests itself is the lack of latest educational tools and aged facilities. Cairo University is a suitable choice for a student that is pursuing prestige and knowledge but doesn’t mind facing some obstacles on the way.
