My name is Muhammad Hammad Mehmoodi, and I am currently a student of Sharia Law at Al-Azhar University. It is truly a matter of great honor and privilege for me to be part of such a prestigious institution.
With a rich legacy spanning over 1,300 years, Al-Azhar University stands among the world’s leading Islamic universities. It has long been a global center of excellence in Islamic scholarship, contributing significantly to religious, intellectual, and academic discourse at an international level.
The faculty members here are highly knowledgeable, dedicated, and supportive, playing a vital role in nurturing both the academic and personal development of students. Their guidance not only enhances our understanding of Sharia but also helps in shaping our character and values.
I sincerely consider this opportunity as one of the greatest blessings bestowed upon me by Allah. Being a student of this esteemed university is not only an academic pursuit but also a deeply meaningful and honorable journey.

As a Systems and Computer Engineering student at Al-Azhar University, I found the program to be quite theoretical and academically heavy, but unfortunately lacking in practical, hands-on experience. Many of the courses were outdated, especially in areas related to modern software development, AI applications, and data-driven technologies.

While the curriculum covered foundational concepts like programming, algorithms, and network systems, the delivery often felt disconnected from real-world applications. Some instructors were dedicated and knowledgeable, but the teaching style was mostly rigid, with limited room for creative thinking or project-based learning.

Campus life and facilities were very basic, and support for student-led initiatives or tech activities was minimal. I had to rely heavily on self-learning, online resources, and internships to gain relevant skills and exposure.

Overall, the program was difficult and demanding, but it didn’t provide enough modern preparation for the tech industry. Future students should be ready to supplement their studies with personal projects and external courses to truly grow.

I like everything about it from the principals to the execution of each school’s program in the university. It’s too easy to have a conversation with your professors and even the president of the university, and feel that you’re heard and that your opinion matters. The community is pretty good and safe as well.

I studied biology at Al-Azhar University for four years It was really a very good experience Professor collaborators and colleagues there are really like brothers Food and housing are provided to expatriates for a very symbolic amount Attention and consideration are given to students and their problems and work to solve them Courses are really very valuable .
