My experience at UIDE’s Medical School was largely positive. The program is comprehensive, offering a solid foundation in both basic sciences and clinical practice. The professors were generally well-trained and accessible, always willing to provide additional support when needed. The university boasts modern facilities, including well-equipped classrooms and laboratories, although I feel there could be more emphasis on clinical exposure from the earlier years of the program. The library and resources are adequate, but I believe better access to digital resources and scientific databases would be beneficial for students. The university environment is inclusive, with a diverse student body that creates a collaborative and supportive atmosphere. While the university offers valuable professional development opportunities, such as internships and clinical placements, I found that some of these could have been better organized to maximize their impact. Despite these areas for improvement, I would recommend UIDE to prospective medical students. The university provides a solid education and ample opportunities for professional growth, and I am confident that it will continue to evolve and improve in key areas, making it a great choice for those pursuing a medical career.
