I would especially like to highlight the friendly, welcoming, and inspiring environment at the university, as well as the willingness of the professors to support and help students. Overall, the university is very attentive to students’ comfort and well-being.

At the same time, there are many student events, which give you great opportunities to meet people from different fields of study. The University of Ostrava also creates a wide range of opportunities for its students – whether through various academic and international programs, or through activities here in Ostrava. For example, students can get involved in different clubs, associations, and organizations, which really helps them connect with others and gain valuable experiences

I am very satisfied with my experience at the University of Ostrava. The programme I study is well structured and academically demanding, which helps students develop both critical thinking and practical skills. One of the biggest strengths of the university is the quality of its academic staff. Many professors are highly knowledgeable in their fields, approachable, and willing to support students in their academic development.

I also appreciate that the programme offers a good balance between theoretical knowledge and its practical application. The courses are meaningful and relevant, and they encourage students to engage with current issues and research.

Overall, I feel that I am studying in a strong programme that prepares students well for their future careers or further academic work. I would definitely recommend the University of Ostrava to prospective students.

I’m in my second year of my master’s degree in English for translation and I have nothing to complain about. My classmates, professors, and the teaching itself are all great, everyone is nice and helpful. I’ll miss it here a lot.

I would definitely highlight the professors at the Dpt of English Studies, as they were really professional and helpful. They also offered many opportunities for involvement in various project activities. I appreciated the canteen which is unfortunately not there anymore. As the campus is right in the city centre, it is easily accessible.

Thanks to the university, I have made many friends and contacts for life. I have gained a lot of practical experience within my field and broadened my horizons thanks to everything that the university offers us. Whether it is the offer of voluntary activities or internships. I have always met with a pleasant approach when I needed advice.
