I really liked the opportunity to choose subjects: with the help of “Student’s Advisors”, students choose their study plan at the beginning of each semester. It was also a useful bonus that when entering the university, international IELTS or TOEFL certificates are not required, students take the internal test directly at the university. The main disadvantage was that the buses in Nicosia are very rarely the last at 21:00, so if you plan to study for a longer time, you will spend the night on the street…

The greatest difficulties for me, as Ukrainian were associated with the need to quickly learn the necessary terminology in English. All lectures are presented in presentations that can be found on the so-called “Intranet”. The approach to learning is purely practical, everything is based on “case studies” (method of situational analysis), you usually prepare for the lecture in advance, the exams are based exclusively on “case studies”.

A young university located in the beautiful Greek-Cypriot part of Cyprus. Pursued my masters degree here and enjoyed every bit of living and studying on the island. The university was recently re-branded, has a great faculty and is already a leading institution in the country.

The University has managed to fulfill all that they said they would do in time. All the courses were well organised and enough resources were also provided for the students. I loved the video tutorials as well as the discussion forums where all the students would meet to discuss what they would learnt as well as ask each other where there will be having problems. The Lecturers were patient and knowledgeable, there was a wide diversity of students, as well as appropriate and modern educational tools. At the University of Nicosia, equal opportunities are offered for every student to participate in various activities they will be conducting. The fees payment plan was very flexible and i would highly recommend people to study with this University.
