SilviaKEMulti diverse cultureHaving experienced University life from Africa , I was not sure what to expect when I decided to relocate and join the University of Kyrenia. It felt like a gateway to a entire different world I wanted to experience. From the multi diverse culture that allowed me to meet people from different parts of the world and experience new cultures, pick up a few new languages as well as handpicked academic advisors who are very hands on in guiding the students. It gave a personal touch that was more than I expected. The quality of education is good especially for the course I’m enrolled in being in the midst of people from different parts of the world has given me a lot of insights in the world of foreign policies and diplomacy and makes it more exciting. It took a while to settle in due to the culture shock and changes but once you adapt the place warms up to you and the Island serves you views in any corner you set your eyes on.
