I studied at Universidad Latina de Costa Rica, and my experience had both good and not-so-good sides.
What I liked: The university offers very flexible schedules, which makes it easier to combine studies with work or personal life. Some professors were excellent — really well-prepared and supportive — and I truly enjoyed those classes. The atmosphere is also good, since you get to meet people from different backgrounds and make valuable connections.
What I didn’t like as much: The administrative processes can be slow and sometimes confusing, which makes simple tasks more complicated than they should be. Also, the quality of classes depends a lot on the professor — with some, you learn a lot, while with others, not as much. I also feel the university could improve career guidance and job placement support for students after graduation.
Overall: I would recommend Universidad Latina to students who are looking for flexibility and a variety of programs. Just be ready to handle some challenges with administration and take initiative to make the most out of your studies and career opportunities.
