I had the opportunity to pursue my Bachelor’s degree in International Relations at the Universidad Internacional de las Américas, and overall, it was a positive experience. One of the standout aspects of my time there was the high quality of the faculty. The professors are incredibly knowledgeable, passionate about their fields, and committed to providing an enriching learning environment. Their real-world experience and expertise in international relations, particularly in diplomatic service, were invaluable in shaping my academic journey.
However, while the faculty excels, the university’s infrastructure leaves much to be desired. The facilities could be better maintained and equipped to meet the needs of students. Some classrooms and resources are outdated, which can occasionally hinder the overall learning experience. Despite this, the dedication of the teachers and the engaging curriculum more than made up for the shortcomings in infrastructure.
