Universidad de Costa Rica - UCR (reviews)

This university is recognized as one of the best in the Spanish-speaking world. Despite everything, it is not perfect and there are many teachers who do not meet the expected level. There is a lot of bureaucracy and although the exchange of young foreigners occurs, many of them when they go to study in Universidad de Costa Rica, do not find a low-cost plan.

The experience of being a UCR student was very exciting and full of learning. The university gave me a full scholarship which was the way I finished my studies. UCR is full of opportunities to go outside the country, which I think is a plus compared to others universities. Also, it is the best university in Central America, and the great level in each course is demonstrated.
What I think it can improve is the way to manage conflicts related to some professors who are lazy and that make courses too boring.

I consider it to be the best University in Costa Rica, with recognitions at a Latin American and global level. (The University of Costa Rica (UCR) ranks 21st among the universities in Latin America and the first in Central America according to QS World University Rankings)
The campus is beautiful and the humanistic education is invaluable.
In addition, it is a public university, which makes it a much cheaper and more accessible option than private universities.
