Those of us in the know are aware of what an honor it is to be part of this institution’s higher education. program. Not only is one taught by top-tier professionals who possess real hands-on experience in the subject matter, but every class is given with spirit and dedication.

This university is recognized as one of the best in the Spanish-speaking world. Despite everything, it is not perfect and there are many teachers who do not meet the expected level. There is a lot of bureaucracy and although the exchange of young foreigners occurs, many of them when they go to study in Universidad de Costa Rica, do not find a low-cost plan.

The experience of being a UCR student was very exciting and full of learning. The university gave me a full scholarship which was the way I finished my studies. UCR is full of opportunities to go outside the country, which I think is a plus compared to others universities. Also, it is the best university in Central America, and the great level in each course is demonstrated.
What I think it can improve is the way to manage conflicts related to some professors who are lazy and that make courses too boring.
