So, I just finished my time at the Universidad Americana (UAM) in Costa Rica, and honestly, it was a great decision. The biggest thing that stands out to me is how much they focus on teaching you stuff you’ll actually use in your career. It’s not just about memorizing facts from a book; it’s about getting hands-on experience.
The classes are all super practical, and the professors are awesome. They’re not just academics; they’ve worked in the fields they teach, so they can share real-life stories and insights that make everything so much more interesting. You can tell they really care about you learning and succeeding. They were always available to help me out, whether it was with a tough assignment or just offering some career advice.
The campus also has this really friendly, welcoming vibe. I found it easy to connect with my classmates and professors, which made the whole learning process feel more collaborative and less stressful. The university staff was always helpful whenever I needed something, too.
If you’re looking for a college that will give you the skills you need to land a job and learn from people who’ve actually been there, I can’t recommend UAM enough. It was a fantastic experience for me!
