Hands-On Experience, Well prepared professors
The Systems Engineering program at UIS is academically rigorous and well-structured. I appreciate the strong foundation in math, algorithms, and computer science, and the recent ABET accreditation adds great value to the degree. The professors are knowledgeable, though sometimes the administrative processes can be slow. Overall, it’s a demanding but rewarding program. I would definitely recommend it to anyone serious about a career in software, AI, or data science.
