“The glorious Universidad del Atlántico” is located in Barranquilla, Colombia and is the only public university in this city. It has the biggest campus in the Caribbean Cost of Colombia. In terms of facilities it is huge with a variety of sport spaces, but nothing is perfect at all, as a public institution it has problems -mostly economics or inner structure-.In the area of Basic Science sometimes it has lack of material for lab practices, for instance: in a class with twenty one students there’s only ten microscope for the practices. Other are like Education, in some cases the classroom is too small for a class with 30 students, it lacks chairs. Even with these challenges, the students and professors of the glorious Universidad del Atlántico give their best to be the best. Nothing is impossible for these students. They work hard every semester for better conditions, and the professors create opportunities and strategies toward the difficulties, and that’s what makes the UA glorious, their students and professors.
View moreIt is one of the best on the Colombian coast, it is the one that only allows you to train in the knowledge of mathematics and is public. Very economical and has many bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programs.
View moreIt doesn’t have a great design and the campus could be improved a lot; there have even been places that are not completely safe for the college community. However, during my time in this college, the administration and heads of the college have been making a lot of improvements, adding new places and remodeling old ones in more up-to-date states. To enroll and keep studying, we have to be very attentive to the processes, since the admissions and other departments usually don’t give much information; we have to keep up-to-date with other students and ask about everything.
On the other side, the quality of the education is great, even one of the best, among the colleges in my country, and the professors are very knowledgeable. Graduating from this college is a great challenge, but it’s completely worth it. Students love and defend this university while looking for ways to make it better.
View moreIt is a huge campus, which in recent years has seen the construction of new blocks. The view from the higher classrooms is beautiful and varied. On one side you can see the recently re-opened Swan Lake from the engineering block, and from the Economics block, block D you can see the sea.
The breezes are lovely and there are good places to hang out. There are courts, a swimming pool, and a large coliseum.
