BU has a focus on serving the community, so during my study, there were plenty of service projects and leadership training, both locally and internationally, for participation. It takes time to plan and organize your own services, so if you are also committee members of other associations and clubs, you have to be good at time allocation. So in the sophomore year, you should get to know the different opportunities, and decide your engagement in the later year.
Besides, the school campus is mainly divided into two sessions, with faculties situated separately, so most of the time, you will meet people from the same faculty only. So beware of what activities are going on by checking the posters of both campus sites, sometimes you would have missed them.
