I attended Yorkville University for their BBA in Project Management program and overall had a positive experience, which I would rate at 4 stars.
The professors at Yorkville University were knowledgeable and experienced in their fields. They brought real-world insights into the classroom, making the coursework engaging and relevant. The courses themselves were well-structured and covered essential topics in project management, providing me with a solid foundation in the field.
However, one area where Yorkville University could improve is their administrative and student services. I found the service to be somewhat inefficient at times, with delays in responding to inquiries and challenges in accessing certain resources. Streamlining these processes could significantly enhance the overall student experience.
In summary, Yorkville University offers a quality education with excellent professors and relevant courses in project management. While there is room for improvement in their administrative services, I would still recommend Yorkville University to anyone seeking a flexible and reputable program in business administration.
I am an alumnae (MACP program) of Yorkville University, although there are some truths about the reviews about the university such as it’s for profit university, some staff are not very accommodating and there are little support sometimes. However, the education I earned from Yorkville University is good. I have learned so much even though I was and still is practicing therapist. Overall I had a good experience with my professors and cohorts.

The tuition raises significantly each year, there are next to no amenities for this (no resources in their library system), they pay their instructors garbage (low quality, not their first priority), let in basically anyone and so the calibre of education is embarrassingly (or should be if they cared about this) low. They also falsely advertise the program with respect to the time needed to complete the course, the ability to work while going to school – there will be synchronous meetings that they will inform you of once the course has started and will not offer any flexibility in. You will have already invested so much that you are stuck and at their mercy. They are not governed by anyone so there is no point in bringing up your concerns.

Do not go to Yorkville University.
I completed Master’s of Counselling Psychology (MACP) up to practicum with 4+ GPA, before getting dismissed from my practicum site for the crime of refusing my practicum supervisor’s identity-politics-motivated compelling of my speech (“misgendering”).
Yorkville automatically failed me as a result.
I appealed this injustice for over a whole year, supplying mountain of evidence and logical arguments to justify my actions, but they did not care, as it did not align with the political orthodoxy that they are religiously adhering to without question. They even assigned me to re-education, which was their attempt to gaslight me into submission.
The corruption and incompetence of the Yorkville’s bureaucrats and administrators cannot be ignored, with them outright valuing adherence to radical leftist precepts over their institutional duty to train skilled counsellors and therapists. Given that these jokers are in charge of running the university, it is only a matter of time before it and its degrees fades into irrelevance.
As for the program’s educational content in general, it is minimal and subpar. The depth of knowledge in their materials is shallow at best. To put it in perspective, I would say at least 95% of my total learnings during the course came from self-study of non-course-related material. The MACP program is extremely bare-boned.
Regarding its online nature, this is overwhelming a detriment. While I can understand the lure of convenience, the costs (and cons) are too great to justify it. For example, in MACP, Discussion Questions (DQs) assignments are present for almost all courses where they attempt to get students to interact with and debate one another while expressing their understanding of course material. In reality, it is mostly a space characterised by students’ sequential regurgitation of course material. Real debate is near non-existent, as students try to fulfill their weekly quota of posts as quickly and painlessly as possible.
Spend your money elsewhere if you actually want an education, or if you just don’t want to pay for these ideological clowns’ salaries.
View moreMy review of this program is based on how I was able to obtain a master’s degree from the comfort of my own home, while working full-time. I am currently in the last year of the program and set to graduate in December 2023. I gave 4/5 stars because the University has a lot of students, which means there are a lot of “hiccups” technology and organization wise.
