at University of Waterloo

Now being as Waterloo is known for its prestigious engineering and arts programmes there’s often concern amongst those joining on how the social aspect is in the University. Waterloo is very much a student-based city with Wilfred Laurier and Conestoga College all neighbouring the University of Waterloo. What this means is that most people moving from abroad or even within Canada will have the ability to meet people similar to them even if it’s outside the borders of the school. Whilst the school may challenge some and require most to have to work to find a balance between their social life and academics there is a lot of support from the university itself to make well-rounded members of society.
