at University of Waterloo

The reason I opted for Waterloo and the Bachelor of Arts program it offered was the vast variety of courses available and how the degree requirements had you exploring pretty much all the domains included under Arts. The courses exceeded my expectations as I not only had the opportunity to learn a language but also got a chance to study the field of music and to my surprise found a course on Harry Potter that allowed me to seek my geeky interests as well. If I am not mistaken, Waterloo is the only university in Canada offering such a course. What I truly loved about Waterloo, was how the courses were a blend of reading, presentations, and in-class discussions allowing me to work on other skills in addition to the academics. Because of the unique blend of the course curriculum, and the great choices in course selection, I would strongly recommend the University of Waterloo for its Bachelor of Arts program, where you can choose your specialization at any point in time as you progress through the program.
