Although people scare you about their experiences in UofT, it is not as bad as they make it out to be. It definitely is a lot of work, but it pushes you to be better. The professors are generally really nice, but the quality of teaching varies from one professor to another. They also have great programs like ASIP and PEY (but a portion of students in the programs do end up jobless). UofT is much more expensive than other universities, so make use of the research opportunities available to you to make your money worth.
