The BScN program offered at the U of A, ranking 1st in Canada this year is an RN program that develops the competency and skills required for individuals to become nurses in the future. I like how the program not only looks at academic knowledge but also equal amounts of in-person clinical experience and training required for students to develop their competencies. However, there were some challenges due to COVID-19 and abrupt switches to online learning in the past 2 years which induced stress and anxiety for many.
