While I enjoyed my studies in the Digital Communications program at Humber College, and I feel I have left the program with a lot of knowledge that will help me in my future career, there were many parts of the program that needed work. Since the program was still relatively new, the curriculum was constantly changing, and newer applicants to the program were gaining more learning outcomes from the program, compared to people in my year who missed those opportunities. While I feel this program set me up for success, in that I’m well-versed in many different creative areas, the program didn’t fully expand my knowledge in any of these areas, and really just taught me the basics, and I had to teach myself further. Overall, all the teachers in this program were extremely helpful and friendly, and definitely made the program worth it. For new applicants, I think the program is a great choice as there have been many changes made to improve the learning outcomes.
