As I’ve come to realize now after staying in SFU (Burnaby Campus) for around two years now is that SFU really tries to make an effort in facilitating engagement across platforms, whether through community-based events, or personalized clubs. There are constant opportunities to feel engaged and at ease with what students bring to the table. I respect SFU’s persistence in promoting social outreach. For a university that is designed to set students up in developing their career portfolio, SFU does this exceptionally well.

TLDR; Be prepared to be bombarded with tons of engagement opportunities even if your social life is not up to par.
