As an international student at Niagara College, I can honestly say the student support here is one of the best things about the school. From the moment I arrived in Canada, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful — especially the International Student Services team. They helped me with everything: study permits, finding housing, and even adjusting to the new environment.

What really stood out to me is how accessible and friendly everyone is. Whether you’re struggling with academics, personal issues, or just feeling homesick, there’s always someone to talk to. I used the Peer Tutoring Program and it really helped me improve in subjects I was weak in — and it’s free!

The Wellness and Counselling services are also amazing. I had a few stressful weeks during midterms, and I booked a session with one of the counselors. It felt great to have someone listen and guide me without any judgment.

Another shoutout goes to the Career Services team — they helped me build my resume, practice interviews, and even find a part-time job in my field. I feel much more confident now about getting a job after graduation.

Overall, I’m really grateful to be part of a college that genuinely cares about its students. The support here isn’t just available — it’s encouraged. They want you to succeed, not just academically, but as a person.
