at Mount Royal University - MRU

Mount Royal University is a university that I believe is best for students who prefer smaller classes. MRU has generally around 30 students in a classroom which gives the teacher the opportunity to properly get to know the students. The staff is kind and very helpful and understanding when it comes to difficult classes. I like that they put in the effort to let students know that they shouldn’t feel too intimidated to ask a question or ask for necessary accommodations. Because of the size and welcoming environment, it is easy to build a network at MRU as well as a bond with your peers and mentors that last even after you get your degree. I also like that there is a recreation centre with a gym as well as a swimming pool on campus, where students have free access and also the opportunity to get some training.
