Western University offers a dynamic environment with a beautiful campus, diverse student body, and a wide range of opportunities to grow academically and socially. The BMOS program, in particular, stands out for its flexibility, allowing students to tailor their courses to align with career aspirations in fields like accounting, finance, and management.

The professors are knowledgeable and approachable, and many bring real-world industry experience into the classroom, which helps bridge the gap between theory and practice. The collaborative projects and case studies within the program simulate real business challenges, making it a highly practical choice for aspiring business professionals.

That said, there are areas for improvement. Some courses can feel overly theory-heavy, and scheduling can be a challenge due to high demand for popular electives. Additionally, while there are plenty of extracurriculars and networking events, students need to be proactive in seeking them out to truly maximize their experience.

Campus life is vibrant, with plenty of clubs and activities to explore, and Western’s reputation for fostering a strong sense of community is well-deserved. The resources available, from academic advising to mental health services, are comprehensive, though wait times can sometimes be long.

Overall, I would recommend Western University and the BMOS program to students seeking a well-rounded education in business, as long as they are prepared to take initiative and navigate some of the challenges that come with a large university setting.

The Business Management and Organizational Studies program at Western University provides you with a broad experience within the business sector of the world. Offering different subsectors you can specialize it, for me it honestly has given me a broad view of everything business. I appreciate that it lets us get a view of everything that business has to offer, with a diverse range of classes that I have to take, however I would like more specialization within the classes at least during the early years, as I have learned about things like Organizational Behaviour and Business Law, when I am not necessarily interested in those sides of business.
