Compared to other Canadian schools, it feels like Dalhousie pays enough attention to and gives enough care to its Arts students as well as its Science students. With Kings College on campus offering fantastic classes in the humanities and the beautiful arts buildings, it seems to be a school that cares. It’s just big enough but not too small to feel like a high school, and there is always something going on to get involved in, no matter your interests.

Since beginning here, I have experience a global pandemic and faculty strikes. My time at Dalhousie has been a rollercoaster to say the least, and while I have my issues with the school – such as obsurd tuition hikes, questionable professors, and online school, I am glad to have spent my undergraduate degree here. The faculty at Dal has been so helpful in stressful times, and they make sure you are succeeding, which is very comforting.
