Factors like campus facilities, extracurricular activities, and faculty support can also enhance the college experience.

View moreI am currently in the Communicative Disorders Assistant graduate certificate program at Durham College. My goal is to one day do and SLP masters and become an SLP.
I find the content we are learning very interesting and intriguing. I like this stuff and want to make it my career. However, many of my courses have the instructors just reading directly from the slides and personally for me I don’t find this engaging enough.
I also commute about an hour for classes. Even though they are reading from the slides so all the information is there, attendance is mandatory which is unfortunate when I am not getting anything extra from the lectures. It also isn’t really scheduled great as we have 1-2 classes a day which makes the commute difficult.
