I like how the focus on the arts program is almost equal to the focus on other programs such as business or science. The university has multiple resources that encourage not only student success but also student well-being as the university is quite community oriented.

Mount Royal University has relatively small class sizes, enabling students to become familiar with one another fairly quickly. Unlike most other universities, the MRU residence provides apartments and townhouses rather than dorm rooms for students who wish to live on campus, which can be occupied by one, two or four people. Students are also encouraged to take a step further in integrating themselves into the community by starting clubs and even businesses like cafes fully run by students on campus.
