Student review [#22506] for Information and Communication Technology
at Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy - NVNA

First of all, the programme of the university/academy was good until they started to open/create new ones which were out of their scope to handle as most of the professors were old Navy veterans which do not have the needed knowledge, to begin with.

My subjects and program were not well organized in my opinion, most of the professors were not competent, positive, and willing to help you in their free time or after classes. It was considered easy if you take your time to study and work on projects, however, the only people for who it was easy were the professors’ favourites.

Once the pandemic came out the organization and processes we needed to bear with were unbelievably bad. There were a lot of tests and projects to give with not much time to do the tasks and it got overwhelming at times. You cannot work and study at the same time and I’m glad I dropped out.

Although the location is really nice, just above the sea garden of the city and in the wide centre, the facilities were really miserable, everything was old and the only thing that was fixed for 5 years in a row and finally looked decent was the academy’s swimming pool.

In a brief summary, I am happy that I dropped out of the academy and as people say “dropped out and got rich” is my motto in life ever since.
