Studying medicine in Bulgaria has had its up and down. What I like about the course is that the university is mainly focused on the theory which is good for the first two years, but for the clinical years more hands in practical experience are needed and that is something that is lacking at the university.

The campus is relatively small, it lacks the spacious greenery we see in films, but the cosy and welcoming city of Pleven compensates and makes it a good atmosphere. Despite being small, you can find a lot of value in everything. Starting from attractive fees which you can pay in instalments, a positive trend of more and more devoted, younger fluently-speaking English tutors and expanding the number of departments and additional courses, this university will give you a great foundation in everything and will provide you with the opportunity to expand and discover world-class specialists in Oncology and all Internal medicine and Surgical disciplines.
